Attendance Matters!

Did you know that missing just two days a month can add up to 18 days a year—almost an entire month of learning lost? Consistent attendance is one of the biggest predictors of student success.

As you plan doctor appointments, family trips, or other events, keep our Fall 2025 “No School” days in mind:

  • Sept. 1, 25, 26
  • Oct. 13–17
  • Nov. 7, 24–28
  • Dec. 18 (Early Release), 19, 22–31

Help your student stay on track—every day counts!

Little Pirate Nation

The Crandall Pirate football team is excited about the season. We are hopeful that you and your child will join in the excitement. As in the past, we want our Little Pirate Nation involved in our home varsity football games. We are going to continue the tradition of having our Little Pirate Nation lead us out onto the field. For those who wish to participate, each grade level will have the opportunity to take part. Please have your child at the gate nearest to the Fieldhouse by 6:40 pm the night of the game. There will be adults and cheerleaders on hand to assist while they are on the field. We invite families to stay for the game and cheer on the Pirates! Your child will be admitted free on the night of his/her assigned grade level as long as they are wearing any Crandall Pirate spirit shirt. Parents will be charged regular admission to the game. We look forward to you and your Little Pirate joining us for a fun-filled Friday Night!

Threats Are No Joke!

Threats Are No Joke! is a powerful PSA that highlights the serious consequences of making or sharing threats, even if they’re meant as a joke. In this PSA, viewers see how a single text message shared among students quickly escalates into chaos, triggering fear, confusion, and a full law enforcement response. This PSA serves as a critical reminder that in today’s world, there’s no such thing as “just a joke” when it comes to threats about school violence, school safety, or harm to others. Whether spoken out loud, posted online, or sent in a text, threats, real or fake, can lead to legal consequences, school discipline, and have long-term consequences for a student’s future.
